The Lampe Foundation has had a very successful year.
A former member in a senior residence gave Lampe $50,000 for scholarships.
28 awards were given totally $30,000. This was an increase of approx. $5,000 over 2014.These were given to students at all levels, secondary 5 leadership.Vocational Centers,CEGEP ,University and Masters programs
3 exciting new awards,
A Leadership award to a Level 5 student at Alexander Galt Regional High School which completes our objective to have a leadership award in all three Eastern Townships School Board high schools in the Eastern Townships plus Thetford Mines.
Agriculture awards to 2 students studying agriculture at CRIFA in Coaticook.
CFUW Sherbrooke & District Commemorative award , nominated by CFUW S&D members. Each year, a full-time student who best exemplifies the characteristics of a CFUW member will be honoured. In addition, a visionary CFUW woman (now deceased) will also be remembered and honoured at the same ceremony. The executive of CFUW S&D will choose the CFUW honouree each year. The Selection committee of Lampe will choose the winning student each year.
Theatre Benefit Evening at Piggery Theatre in North Hatley raised $1500.00
Donations from Eileen Healy winners and CFUW Sherbrooke & District allowed the Lampe Foundation to endow the Eileen Healy Leadership Scholarship at Bishops University.
