Awarded to a returning student, currently enrolled in a vocational, Cegep or university program, who has persevered in their studies despite exceptional barriers or obstacles for learning.
The Rural Opportunity Scholarship is destined for Eastern Townships students who resided in a rural area during their secondary school education.
This scholarship was created in celebration of Lampe’s 30th year and is funded by the generous donations of local individuals who not only wished to recognize Lampe’s 30th anniversary but also support those students whose educational path may be compromised.
This scholarship is renewable (maximum 3 years).
THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTATION SHOULD ACCOMPANY THE COMPLETED FORM:
- Copy of latest transcript
- Two (2) letters of reference: one from a professor and one that should attest to the applicant’s future career goals/chosen field.
Note: This document can be sent directly via email to the foundation from the teacher. This document may also be mailed via Canada Post directly to the Lampe Foundation. The address is on the form.
- Proof of Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident Status.
- Proof of acceptance in a certification, degree or diploma program
This award is contingent upon the applicant providing proof of registration and remaining in an accredited post-secondary program.
Decisions of the Scholarship Selection Committee are final.
