Marlis and Sigrid Wehr Mature Student Scholarship

Awarded to a mature student from the Estrie region who has financial need. Scholarship offered to women only.

Marlis Wehr was a teacher, community activist, and long-time member of CFUW Sherbrooke & District. Sigrid was her mother.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Full-time female student enrolled in technical ,vocational, or degree program
Canadian citizen or landed immigrant
Resident of the Eastern Townships for at least 3 years or graduation from a local high school
Financial need
Twenty-one years of age and returned to school after at least a 2 year absence

THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTATION SHOULD ACCOMPANY THE COMPLETED FORM:

Copy of latest transcript
One signed letter of reference from a teacher or employer attesting to your potential to work in your chosen field and your language skill.
Note: This document can be sent directly via email to the foundation from the teacher or employer. This document may also be mailed via Canada Post directly to the Lampe Foundation. The address is on the form.
Proof of Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident Status.

Decisions of the Scholarship Selection Committee are final.
