Ouida Ramon-Moliner Scholarship

Awarded to a Cegep or University student, in recognition of their perseverance in being the first generation to pursue post-secondary education.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Full-time student currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution
First generation in their family to pursue
Canadian citizen or permanent resident
Resident of the Eastern Townships for at least 3 years
Financial Need

THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTATION SHOULD ACCOMPANY THE COMPLETED FORM:

Photocopy of latest transcript
Letter of reference, from a teacher attesting to your potential to succeed in your chosen field.
Letter of introduction, written by you, demonstrating your ambition and motivation to pursue your post-secondary studies.
– How did you choose your course of studies/future career
– Was there someone or some moment that convinced you to go ahead with your post-secondary education
– Being the first in your family to pursue post-secondary education, what obstacles did you have to overcome
– Do you or did you have personal support
Proof of acceptance in a certification, degree or diploma program
Proof of Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident Status. Photocopies are permitted

This award is contingent upon the applicant providing proof of registration and remaining in an accredited post-secondary program.

Decisions of the Scholarship Selection Committee are final.

  Personal information submitted as part of your scholarship application will be retained for a period of 4 years, after the scholarship award has been made or after the scholarship cycle concludes.
